The council is presenting the awards April 9 during Religion Communication Congress 2010 in Chicago. Bob Abernethy, longtime host of PBS' Religion & Ethics Newsweekly, will receive a special Wilbur Award for contributions to public discussion of faith topics.
RCC members can now reserve hotel rooms for Religion Communicators Congress 2010 for $169 per night. That's $20 less than originally announced. The rate, good for single or double occupancy, is available through March 16.
