    The Congregational Resource Guide (CRG), a project of the Alban Institute and funded by the Lilly Endowment, is seeking a new-media coordinator.

     

    Responsibilities include managing CRG's presence on Twitter and Facebook and increasing traffic to each while converting individuals to e-newsletter subscribers and active members of the CRG website.

     

    The coordinator will also be involved in producing the e-newsletter, blogging on our site, and acting as producer for the podcast.

     

    Our fast-moving office values initiative, adaptability, and creativity. An interest in congregational life preferred.

    Business Development Representative

    The American Theological Library Association (ATLA) has an opening for a Business Development Representative. This is a full time position in the Business Development Department, reporting to the Director of Business Development.

     

    ATLA is a prestigious professional association of theological libraries and librarians located in Chicago's loop area. The Association also produces electronic products in all fields of theology and religion that are licensed and sold worldwide, generating the Association's primary source of revenue.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Work closely with the Director of Business Development and colleagues to plan and execute ATLA's public relations, sales and marketing campaigns for existing and planned products and services.
    • Work as key liaison on major member and customer initiatives, including new markets.
    • Develop press releases, online catalogs, fact sheets, and other promotional collateral to optimize ATLA's product visibility in print and electronic forums.
    • Proactively contact customers and potential customers, and work with aggregators on customer communications.
    • Organize customer feedback and suggestions for product enhancements and improvements and communicate these ideas to appropriate teams.
    • Manage departmental intranet and other internal communications efforts.
    • Support other market research programs, competitive intelligence efforts, and strategic initiatives.
    • Handle all logistics, plan ATLA's presence, and travel roughly 3-6 times per year to represent ATLA at academic conferences and other sales forums.

    Director of Outreach

    The Director of Outreach shall be a person committed to Jesus Christ and the church and dedicated to working in a church related organization. S/he shall have knowledge and experience of marketing and hospitality. S/he shall also have strong abilities in communication and sales. Bachelor's degree required.

     

    The Director of Outreach shall be responsible for the sales, marketing, and booking of retreat groups and the sales and marketing of all Good Earth Village programs. S/he will implement service standards to be implemented by the guest service, foodservice, and housekeeping departments. Specifically, marketing, selling, booking, and re-booking adult and youth retreat groups; creating and maintaining marketing materials, both print and electronic; creating and maintaining marketing databases and CRM system; creating, and maintaining accountability for, guest relations standards, including guest services, housekeeping, foodservice, and facility maintenance; representing Good Earth Village at marketing shows, synod assemblies, and client meetings.
