August 2016 Update: RCC members busy in the summer!

RCC membership benefits – large & small

Handa Fellow and RCC member Simran Jeet Singh shared one of the benefits offered by RCC membership and being a Handa Fellow.

“I wanted to send you a quick note of gratitude for a recent experience facilitated by the Handa Fellowship. As you remember, you invited me to sit at the head table for the Wilbur Awards, and I happened to sit next to one of the guests of honor, Katherine Marshall. Katherine and I had a lovely conversation about life, work, and our humanitarian efforts. As per usual, I couldn’t help but brag about my incredible wife, and it turned out that my wife happened to fit the precise profile of someone Katherine was seeking for an event she was hosting for the UN’s World Food Programme in Rome. And so it all came to pass.

“This is the short story of how the Handa Fellowship helped my wife reconnect with Pope Francis and helped me on my first trip to Italy. So, thank you :) I know you've been intentional about setting up these networks, and I'll be the first to say that it's been incredibly powerful.”
