Adlai Amor, (Washington DC Chapter) was appointed the first ever Associate Executive Secretary for Communications in May by The Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), A Quaker Lobby in the Public Interest. Prior to joining FCNL, Amor was director of communications and marketing at Bread for the World.

Philip Poole, (Member-at-Large) a former national president for RCC, has been named coordinator for Religion Communication Congress 2020 (RCCongress 2020). Philip is a veteran religion communication and public relations practitioner currently serving as Executive Director for University Communications at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. RCCongress 2020 is a once-a-decade international gathering of professional religion communicators from a wide range of faith traditions.

M.E. Clary (Dallas-Ft. Worth Chapter) was named Director of Communications at Grace Presbytery, a regional body of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Synod of the Sun serving the Northeast, North Central and Central Texas Area. Prior to this, she was Director of Media and Church Relations at NorthPark Presbyterian Church in Dallas, TX.

Teresa Tysinger (Dallas-Ft. Worth Chapter) has taken a new position as Communication Coordinator at the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation in Nashville, TN. She will oversee the Communications and Marketing strategy to reach students, parents and donors. She moved from Director of Communications for the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Worth, TX.

Stewart Hoover, friend of RCC (including keynoter for two once-a-decade Congress meetings and several RCC conventions) and Director of the Center for Media, Religion and Culture at the University of Colorado Boulder, was inducted as a fellow at the 68th annual International Communication Association Conference in Prague recently. This prestigious award recognizes distinguished scholarly contributions to the broad field of communication. He joins a group of stellar scholars in the fields of communication and media studies. This recognition speaks volumes about the outstanding reputation Stewart has both nationally and globally. Congratulations, Stewart!
