Official Notification for RCC’s Annual Business Meeting

February 8, 2019

This message serves as your official notification of the Religion Communicators Council (RCC) 2019 Annual Business Meeting.

The session will convene at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11 at Fourth Presbyterian Church in downtown Chicago, which is the site of the 90th Annual RCC Convention.

RCC is incorporated in the State of New York as a nonprofit entity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The RCC Bylaws require an annual meeting for conducting the Council's corporate business, such as electing officers. The meeting is open to all members. Members in good standing have voice and vote.

Article 6 of the RCC Bylaws specifies the following agenda items be included:

  1. Roll call
  2. Minutes from previous meeting
  3. Reports of committees
  4. Old business
  5. New business
  6. Adjournment

Reports will include 2019 nominations for officers and openings on the Board of Governors.

Article 11 of the RCC Bylaws requires all local chapters to submit written activity reports to the Annual Meeting. These reports – typically one page or less – are to detail what chapters have done since the 2018 Annual Meeting.

Chapter presidents should submit annual reports to RCC Executive Director Shirley Struchen by March 18, 2019.

Online registration for the April 10-13, 2019 RCC Annual Convention is now available. We look forward to your joining us for the RCC Convention and Annual Business Meeting.
